Picture the Needy is a prayer answered by our Lord.

Mission

I've been blessed with a talent and for the past 3 years I've been visiting Pediatric wards at various local hospitals, sharing my photographs, and bringing a breath of happiness to the children during their stressful stay at a hospital.

This effort has recently blossomed into visiting the ederly at a local Care Facility, which has over 100 residences.

Experience of Giving

This particular Care Facility met me with open arms, stating more than once, that most of their residents, have had NO visitors !  This breaks my heart, and has given me new resolve to provide a matted photograph, share time with these lonely souls, and become a member of their extended family, as do each and every care giver.

The rewards greatly outweigh the effort !!  But I can't do this alone, so this is why I've added this page to my website to urge each and everyone of you, to either help out by donating supplies, money, services, suggestions, or even give some of your time by visiting a Care Facility near you.

There are over 30 Care Facilities in our area, and we hope to visit them all !

If you have a donation or great idea, you may call me at 530-945-1811 to receive more information or contact me at info@paulharmonphotography.com

Let's not forget that these wonderful Seniors are someone's Parent or Grandparent !!  Please help if you can !

The following businesses and kind people have helped out in our endeavor, and we greatly appreciate it !!!

                              ~ My Job ~

My job is a very important job.

It's important to me; and it's important to you.

You see, I work in a nursing center.

It's not easy or glamorous; it's hard and thankless.

                             But it's important, very important.

I take care of people who need me.

                             They really need me.

There are so many things to do.

I try to make every minute count.

The little things I do make a big difference.

A touch, a smile, a friendly hello, a drink of water.

My job is a very important job.

It's important to me; it's important to you.

You see, I work in a nursing center.

I take care of some very sick people.

My work makes the difference to them.

I'm not perfect; I make mistakes.

But I want you to know I do my best.

I take pride in my work, my facility, in myself.

You see, I take care of some very important people~

Your husband, your wife, your mother, your father.

Now you know why my job is an important job.

Redding Rotary West's 15 annual Christmas Luncheon

I was priviledged to photograph this wonderful event !  The Rotary Club's generousity provided a great meal, entertainment, and gifts from Santa for seniors from various local Care Centers. This wonderful luncheon was held at the beautiful Riverview Golf and Country Club.

Below are a few images of everyone enjoying themselves !
